I did this thing at school where I flick a booger from out of muh nose with a pencil, this time it bullseyed the teacher's stupid canary, our school mascot. The bird choked, and soon stopped singing, it took a while for the dreadfull realisation to sink in, then it shuddered, gagged, fluttered and spluttered itself to death spitting that booger back out. If there had been soap and a throat gargle handy I do think it would have even made a desperate last-roll-of-the-dice attempt to use those. As it was, it had just about been ready to strike up that annoying canary whistle-song as it opened its beak to sing, ready to bring forth the first, exploratory note.
Ah what the hell... I saw an opportunity ..so I took the shot.
They sent me to Naval Academy Spec Forces. Said something about well developed aptitude for Trajectory Path Analysis and Propulsion Systems.
So I said to the dude, 'Dude, why the Naval Academy?'
Then he gave me a long thesis on the civic symbolism of using a pencil to work it out. Graduated on teh 4th of July, Gallentean. Go figure...
