The truth does not free us, the truth binds us and defines us and forces us to conform.
The truth holds us to what we are and what we are not.

The truth is a weapon, a man can be destoyed utterly by the truth of themselves. It can strip them of everything that they think that they are and everything that they hope to be.

The only defence against the truth is to know ones own truth, to wrap it around and allow yourself to be defined by it. So armoured are you bound.

Do not fear the man who avoids the truth, for they can always be destroyed by the same. Fear the residue of such destruction. Fear the man that stands behind the truth, who uses it as a shield. For that man is already defeated, has nothing more to lose, and thus can wield the truth without fear
