Having started her life as the enterprising daughter of a minor mining guild chairmember Kaleah worked her way from the bottom rungs of asteroid mining as a simple 'rockjack' up to owning her own small mining ship.

From there it was all clear skies and smooth sailing until the day Kaleah was doing a favor for a friend in the guild and swung by an area of deadspace to pick up an ejected capsule from a derelict ship.

The capsule was empty and Kaleah took it as her personal mission to find out what happened to the survivors. When she tracked them to a small Amarr affiliated group that was trafficking in Gallente slaves she was infuriated beyond belief and took off from the station post-haste with neither orders nor assistance.
