2010.02.17 Started day in nullsec to conclude pirate epic arc. Completed arc and made it back to high sec without having ever lost a ship. Switched from jump clone to main. Used reward money to complete implant set. Proceeded to Jita to sell faction mods. Smartbombed in Jita.
Losses: Approx 400 mil + full implant set.
Same day: After getting smartbombed, while en route to grab battleship from corp HQ, saw a guy get suicide ganked. His losses: Approx 820 Mil.
The only safe place in EVE is the inside of an NPC station, and even then, a simple mis-click can have you paying into a 250mil scam.
