Velveteen, a combat pilot at heart, started out running small time security ops for mining firms, keeping pirates at bay and taking the spoils as the perks. He found himself enlisted with Mortis Vulcan industries, Running their mining op security jobs. Having been nudged up into a bigger ship, he relished punching holes into the dim witted pirates that would come seeking the easy pickings that would have been the mining crew.

Mortis Vulcan industries however fell into liquidation, and, following their disappearance, Velveteen spent a long time out of work, touring the bars in Osvestmunnur, downing whisky and living in a permanent drunken stupor. Now he's resurfaced into the twilight of Minmatar space, seeking once again to create many crumpled pirate wrecks from misguided fools.
