Lanzier was raised as a child prodigy, posting daily recipes in his food blog, which got views by the millions. He graduated with a degree in Cullinary Arts at the age of 14. Lanzier has been named "The King of Taiwanese Cuisine" consecutively for five years by Gluttony, a Gallentean cullinary magazine. At the age of 15, he provided catering services to the Caldari Navy Annual Ball. He hosted his own cooking show for two seasons, Cooking with Lanzier.

On his 22nd birthday, he decided to leave the cullinary field to become a capsuleer and explore New Eden. Throughout his travels, he has shared his expertise in cooking with hundreds of chefs throughout New Eden, spreading the ancient art of Taiwanese cooking.

Lanzier refers to his biggest fans as "Legeaters." To be given the title of Legeater by Lanzier is considered the greatest honor among his fans.
