The Ruomo rules of mining ettiqutte: (These are especially true for mining ice)
1) Don't send a private message to the Orca pilot to get in his fleet. Just ask in local.
2) Don't split your lasers. All toons put all lasers on one rock.
3) Don't put your lasers on the rock of an ally or fleet-mate. It is considered rude.
Exceptions to rule 3:
- See Rule 2
- The last rock of the field
4) (Optional) Please blue your wrecks. If you cannot loot or salavge, we will help you keep things clean. A tidy belt is a happy belt.
If I am boosting for fleet:
1) I generally run three modules
2) I will run the compressor as needed (not all the time)
- I like to move around
- I am cheap and don't like to waste the Heavy Water.
3) Phoenix Infernis generally does not take guests into its mining fleets. We somektimes make exceptions on Fridays.
4) Don't crowd the orca. Good orca pilots can provide bossts and compression at least 60km away. No need to fly next to them.
