swire's origins are hidden within the web of lies that he likes to spin about himself. All that is certain is that he was born irritable, dating from the time his parents, in naming him, showed an inability to use capital letters.

He now makes his living as an itenrant: shooting, mining, trading and reciting poetry in the local bars in an attempt to bring culture to the masses and bring his own pseudo-intellectualism into sharp relief.

swire plans to work at this for a few more years, then retire to a small station, on the edge of empire space, where he will make his fortune manufaturing paper clips.
