Isilda was born in a refuge which often housed recently freed slaves, waiting for the resources to start their new lives within the Minmatar Republic. Both her parents met during their escape and she was soon born to the budding business family of the Stonesgradgets.

Both parents though had lived hard lives and within a decade both had passed due to health complications related to their slavery. One of their trusted business partners took her into his ship to raise as his own. An old bulk freighter that was known to take the ghost lanes to and from rough and tumble worlds, with her adopted father and two brothers. Brought up on ship, having lived in Zero G for more than 1/2 of her life she quickly took up the spaceborne life.

She is nearly 29 years old (counting clones) and set off on her own ship. A pure tomboy who is more than often scouring over scanner reports, grease smeared on her face from tinkering, and a few 125mm shells for paper weights.
