what doesnt kill you usually succeeds in the second attempt
apparently i'm working off karma
Jon Pertwee is still the third doctor, I like the new ones but I can still pick the old ones out of a lineup.
time is granular in the same way that space is granular through Planck's constant. Were it not so we would be forced to live out Zenos paradox and one would never get from point a to point b. Through the granularity of time and space together we know that as one approaches the event horizon of a singularity and there is "more time" it is running up against the unit of granular time... far from being a paradise of instantaneity in comparison to the time progression of the universe at large it is in essence pixelated time, abbreviated past the point where it is only mathematically noticable (as in the gravity wells apparent in normal space). It is... Gods jump cut... or His final gag as time, the experience of the universe is Yadda Yadda'ed into oblivion
as gravity is the experience of stuff attracting stuff where its apparent energy from the perspective of the frame of reference of the thing doing the attracting is low enough to be trapped into that frame... consider the perspective of it as stuff repelling "emptiness." And, with emptiness identified as a character in the play that is the story of the universe... As stuff repells nothing, does nothing also attract nothing, Is the story of intergalactic space related to the very emptiness of it, which is attractive to more emptiness until it becomes that very deep ocean that is the space between galactic clusters, operating with a kind of "space-time surface tension" until it encounters a location that is peppered with matter and energy which typically forms, when mature, into a stable disk with a galactic border that resists the expelling of objects that would otherwise have reached an "escape velocity." Although this itself results simply in a higher than expected curve of energy required to escape the system, the net effect of that repulsion is what clears the given region of anything larger than isolated atoms.
