Bio
I was once a fresh capsuleer of Astral Prospect Industries, convinced that loyalty alone could hold an alliance together. We mined, hauled, built stations from little more than ambition, and believed our banner would one day leave a permanent mark on New Eden.
We were wrong.
The first war began over a forgotten moon in Aldik. The second over pride. The third... no one could even remember. Fleets that once flew together began pointing their guns inward. Diplomats traded honor for influence, CEOs disappeared with corporate assets, and trusted allies quietly accepted contracts from the very enemies they had sworn to destroy.
When the Keepstar fell above Sivala, our fleet commander gave the order to stand and fight. Half the alliance obeyed. The other half never answered the broadcast.
I remember watching the station burn through the canopy of my battered Drake. I was heartbroken. Not because we had lost another battle, but because I realized I no longer recognized the people I had called family.
I spent years drifting afterward.
Mercenary contracts. Sleeper expeditions. Drinking until I couldn't walk anymore. Quiet months wandering high-sec under corporations that barely remembered my name. I searched for another banner worth believing in, only to discover that banners are temporary. Principles are not.
New Eden never taught me how to win every war. It taught me something far more valuable. Wealth disappears. Territory changes hands. Alliances fracture beneath ambition, fear, and greed. Even legends fade into forgotten kill reports.
Character is the only possession that survives every defeat.
So I continue to undock.
Not because I expect the next alliance to be perfect. Not because I believe betrayal will never find me again. But because somewhere beyond the next stargate, another pilot may need someone who still believes that integrity is worth more than ISK, and loyalty means more than convenience.
Until that day, I will keep flying.
