Raised in a Matar orphanage effectively from birth, Rellyra is of completely unknown parentage. "Anvegren" is a name she developed for herself at the end of her minority when registering for full citizenship and enrolling at Pator Tech.

Pator Tech was a clear choice for someone like Rellyra, who exhibited an enthusiasm for tinkering and repair of electronic and mechanical systems from a young age. While there, Rellyra maintained good marks but also awakened some personality traits - particularly of a sexual nature - considered somewhat excessive or libertine even for both the Gallente and Minmatar. This resulted in some social ostracization, and after graduating from Pator Tech, Rellyra became a capsuleer and seeks her fortunes outside of Republic space in order to limit persistent repercussions of a past she has largely left behind.

Having developed a taste for bending the rules and operating outside of normal legal channels during her latter academic years and her early capsuleer training, Rellyra tends to operate on the fringes of acceptable norms, occasionally crossing over into less-than-savory activities.
