Bio
Boris was never meant to be a soldier.
Born among the industrial stations of Caldari space, he grew up believing that a ship was valuable not because of its weapons, but because of what it could carry. He dreamed of commanding a merchant vessel: hauling rare minerals, advanced electronics, and carefully negotiated contracts between distant systems. To Boris, success meant a clean cargo hold, a reliable crew, and enough profit to one day own a small fleet of his own.
For a time, that dream seemed within reach. He learned navigation, trade law, cargo management, and the quiet discipline needed to move valuable goods through dangerous space. He earned a reputation as a cautious but honest captain—someone who delivered what he promised and never risked his crew for a few extra credits.
Then pirates found his convoy.
What began as a routine transport through a supposedly safe route became a running battle. Boris watched armed raiders tear apart an escort ship and move toward the freighters. With no Navy patrol close enough to help, he had a choice: surrender his cargo and abandon the crews depending on him, or fight.
He chose to fight.
Boris survived that day, but the experience changed him. He learned that in New Eden, trade and violence are rarely separate. A merchant captain needs to understand markets, but also missiles; negotiation, but also shields; profit, but also survival. He still considers himself a trader at heart, and he still hopes to command ships built for commerce rather than war. But until the space lanes are safe, Boris will defend his cargo, his crew, and anyone else who cannot defend themselves.
He did not choose the life of a combat pilot.
The pirates chose it for him.
