Bio
Alias: “Black Echo
Affiliation: Guristas Pirates
Role: Intelligence runner, signal interceptor, logistics raider
Birthplace: Intaki V – Intaki Syndicate space
Current Status: Active, Guristas-aligned

Christine Powell was not born into piracy—she was manufactured by neglect, greed, and the cold efficiency of New Eden’s megacorporate machine.

Raised on Intaki V, Christine grew up amid political instability and corporate exploitation. Her mother worked as a contract analyst for a Gallente megacorp subsidiary; her father vanished into the black after a “logistics accident” that the company quietly wrote off. Christine learned early that legality was flexible, and justice depended entirely on who paid for it.

Brilliant with numbers and patterns, she earned a corporate scholarship and was fast-tracked into deep-space logistics and signal analysis. Officially, she optimized trade routes. Unofficially, she learned how cargo vanished, how manifests were altered, and how “losses” became profit for someone higher up the chain.

Her disillusionment turned into rage when she uncovered evidence that her father’s ship had been deliberately rerouted into a kill zone to inflate insurance payouts. When she tried to expose it, the corporation erased her contract, froze her accounts, and issued a quiet black mark that followed her across Gallente space.

With nowhere left to go, Christine fled into low-sec, surviving by selling signal intercepts and route predictions to anyone who would pay. That was how the Guristas found her.

The Guristas didn’t care about her past—only her usefulness. They saw a mind that could predict convoy movements, spoof transponders, and identify weak points in corporate security nets. She was given a choice: keep running, or become untouchable.

She chose piracy.

Within the Guristas, Christine became known as “Black Echo”, a ghost in the data streams. She specialized in intercepting corporate comm traffic, feeding false intel, and guiding Guristas strike wings to soft, high-value targets. Unlike many of her peers, she preferred precision over slaughter—clean hits, fast extractions, minimal waste. Profit mattered. Reputation mattered more.
