Bio
They shimmered through radiation haze and fractured scan data... space smeared with ghosts of dead empires and broken signals. B0B chased them anyway.

He graduated from School of Applied Knowledge driven by hunger for the unknown. Industry built his ships, but it was never enough. Always something beyond the next jump... unclaimed... unseen.

Something real.

He met Duchess in a docking ring of coolant and burnt circuits. She spoke of exploration as possibility, not profit. He didn’t believe her at first.

Then he did.

They flew into quiet, unmapped systems. Out there, corporations and wars faded. Just stars... and something waiting in the abyss.

B0B built the ships. Duchess gave it meaning. She said they weren’t taking from New Eden... they were adding to it. He believed her.

They found others out there. One nearly stranded them. B0B wanted him gone.

Duchess refused.

“Out here... we get few chances to be better.”

So B0B forgave him. Shared routes. Shared trust.

Trust always looks like weakness to the wrong mind.

Deep in unstable space they found it... a rich, untouched system. They should’ve kept it secret.

They didn’t.

The betrayal spread the coordinates. Fleets came. Not explorers... predators. War erupted before B0B could respond.

Duchess was already inside.

Her last transmission broke into static... trying to hold things together as it collapsed. Then nothing.

Just echo.

B0B replayed it until it stopped sounding like her.

After that, exploration changed. Colder. Sharper. Every system became a claim. He built silent fleets that asked no questions.

Years passed.

He found the betrayer again.

No rage. No guns.

Just forgiveness... and another invitation into the unknown.

The man accepted.

They always do.

The system looked ancient. Valuable.

He entered.

The wormhole vanished.

Space closed like a trap.

B0B never followed.

He watched as the fleet disappeared piece by piece.

No anger.

No satisfaction.

Just balance.

Duchess’s last message remained:

“Out here... we are all alone...”

He cut it.

The stars stretched on... endless... indifferent.

B0B turned toward another dark void.

Still searching.

Still building.

Still chasing something just out of reach.

Something real.
