Selene was abducted and sold to X6 as a worker when she was young, and there she met Jaric, who promised her a life of freedom. But Jaric’s promises were empty—he used Selene as a tool for his own rise to power, pushing her deeper into the mines while he stayed safely above ground, using her to fund his ambitions in cybernetic research.
When Helene was six, Selene tried to escape with her daughter, but Jaric betrayed her, selling Selene’s contract to a ruthless smuggler. This heart-wrenching abandonment shattered Helene’s world. Her mother disappeared, and Helene grew up under the shadow of her father’s manipulation and deceit.
