Heldur Arian Eriker never set out to become a soldier.

Like many young capsuleers, he began with simpler ambitions. A ship of his own. ISK in the account. Ore in the hold. Work that paid.

Mining led to contracts. Contracts led to security work. Eventually, Heldur found himself flying under the banner of HALO – United Nations Space Command, part of the vast Absolute Glory alliance.

He was no decorated fleet commander. But when the call came, he answered often enough. He flew in their wars, saw ships burn, and learned one of New Eden’s oldest lessons:

Every organisation has ambitions. Every capsuleer eventually has to decide whether those ambitions are their own.

Exploration offered something different.

In YC127, aboard a poorly equipped Probe, Heldur crossed into J215326.

A C3 system.

No stargates. No CONCORD. No familiar constellations overhead. Only an unknown star, ancient Sleeper ruins and whatever waited beyond the next signature.

The Probe never came home.

Heldur did.

Then, for a long time, he disappeared from capsuleer space.

Now he has returned.

His old allegiances have been severed. The mining fleets can find another pilot. The wars of great alliances can find another soldier.

Heldur is flying alone.

And somewhere beyond the next wormhole is a part of New Eden no empire has mapped, no alliance truly controls, and no gate can reach.

J215326 was the first lesson.

This time, he’s going prepared.
