What is Arcadia? Who are we as a nation? We are the flame that burns within, the fire to swallow all. Arcadia is the grand crusade, against injustice, against death, against adversity. We carve our name across the stars not cheaply in a single moment of passion, but in a relentless campaign that would last our entire lives. Day by day we toil. Ours is the determination of steel, metal purified in the inferno of passion never extinguished, yet tempered with wisdom, and enduring truth. With every failure our power grows. Our will, unconquerable. We face loss that fells many. We step over the corpses of others' ambition, their dreams abandoned. We, do not yield, but march ever forward, ever onward, towards ascension.

It is not pleasure that we strive for, it is not hope, for we require no such delusions. It is only will that matters, for what is victory? Victory is to go beyond, victory is within ourselves. It is the choice to fight, to learn, at the pinnacle of torment, victory is the choice to resist even then. What drives that choice? There is love and there is hate. Love of the innocent, hatred of injustice. Love of battle, hatred of surrender. To see those beloved, and their imminent doom, to hear terror in their voice, and feel their desperation, inaction becomes impossible. Surrender, unimaginable. Pleasure gives way to sacrifice, identity gives way to unity, opinion gives way to purpose, and there becomes only one choice: victory, or death.

Heed these words my brothers, my children, my friends. I am a fearful man, but even I at times feel the truth within myself: I am driven by the fallen, those who die but do not make a sound. Their lives, their love, their triumphs and their shame, lost with insignificance. They are the forsaken and forgotten. They are the nameless. They are the voiceless. They are those who are trampled and then buried in the bliss of the ignorant. When I see their fallen bodies upon the ground and hear the silence of untold pasts: I can feel who I must become: the architect of their vengeance.
