Pilots should beware of a fault with the ORE Venture-class mining ship.
The Venture hull has a fatal design defect, which can cause the ship to explode unexpectedly and for no reason. While the ORE conglomerate denies any problems, independent researchers have determined that the fuel cells located in the aft area of the hull are too near the exhaust port. A minor impact to the stern of the spacecraft could cause it to explode violently, often destroying the pod of the pilot and damaging other nearby spacecraft.
For this reason, the Venture has been declared "unsafe at any speed" and capsuliers should not purchase or use this ship until the defects are corrected. Volunteers have begun to remove pilots from their ventures to save the lives of those unknowingly flying these death traps.
If your Venture unexpectedly explodes, please be aware it's for your own good. You should upgrade to a better class of spacecraft and never fly the Venture, or any spaceship, while AFK.
