With strong ties to the Gallente from his mother, Javier Nothildr (He/Him) was raised in Minmatar space, learning to fly and fight at a young age, practicing on drones. Javier grew up hearing horrible stories about his peers and family members being captured and sold into slavery for the Caldari and Amarr. Even his half-cousin, whom he was very close friends with, was under slavery for a large part of his childhood. Javier yearned to join the battle against the empires but his father wouldn't let him.
Eventually, after coming of age, he was allowed to defend a small flotilla of hauling ships on a usually quiet route.
Javier was in a frigate defending the hauler fleet along-side his father, when the fleet was ambushed at the drop-off location, a planetary structure in low security space. Despite having orders to defend the haulers, Javier broke ranks to defend his father's cruiser, which was under fire from some destroyers and cruisers. By the time Javier could down two destroyers, his father and father's crew were killed in action. Being fast enough to outpace the distracted smaller ships, Javier burned out of the disruption field and escaped with his life. After mourning his father for a few weeks, he began living with his mother and joined the Gallente Militia, swearing to do everything in his power to bring the Caldari Empire down, only using diplomacy if absolutely necessary.
