Bio
((the following is OOC information - only known IC to the Directrix and to LUMEN's security chief Aria, and to the CCI00 Archon))
Holly Lhermite is a false identity. It is not publicly known who the person is that inhabits the clone that calls itself Holly Lhermite. Their real identity is somewhere in a file locked away safely.
"Holly" used to work as an infomorph expert for Poteque Pharmaceuticals, the largest manufacturer of clones in the Federation. She joined a few others from Poteque that started their own side-business using Poteque's infrastructure to perform infomorph editing on demand.
Have traumas you want to forget or a phobia you want to get rid of? Want to improve yourself with some nice memories or healthy habits? That's all possible with infomorph editing, and after recloning you will be the "better" self you always wanted to be. Sounds good, and not too different from what capsuleers do. But it is illegal.
Holly soon found out that crime is a slippery slope, and her skills were used for far worse purposes than self-improvement. She could let you have two active clones doing different things, and then afterwards merge the infomorphs back into one clone. Some used it to have sex with copies of themselves inhabiting clones of their favorite celebrities. Some want to reclone more permanently in a body that is not theirs to evade justice. Holly could make it all happen, and was forced to cater to the worst criminals and perverts.
At some point, she decided to act as a whistleblower and went to the authorities. She was a witness for the prosecution, but the case did not go very far - apparently very powerful interests were involved. She feared for her life, and created a new clone and a new identity using the infomorph editing techniques that she masters so well. She left the Federation and found refuge in wormhole space, working as an explorer and wormhole mapper in Seclusion for the Amarr loyalists of LUMEN.
Finding the Amarr customs too rigid, she followed a band of wormhole colonists in YC127, beginning a new life in their Astrahus orbiting the cold planet Epikouria IX.
