After receiving a scholarship to the school of Applied Knowledge on New Caldari, He was getting top marks in all his classes, one of his professors contacted AIR as he believed he could be a potential Capsuleer, so AIR send a team out to see if Esi was physiological and physiologicaly fit to become a capsuleer

after finishing his qulifications in ship manufacture and Esi enrolled into the Capsuleer training program and after 5 years of gruling tests and voluntering to cutanasie his original body that his consciousness has called home for 25 years
5 years later an accident on board his station that caused it to explode causing all hands to go down with the station all the capsuleers where lucky and could be podded but the non capsuleer crew was not so lucky after a tribunal found that Esi was a fault and to be fired losing all his assets accrued in them 5 years he was left with 10k ISK a Corvette and all the skills he accrued over the 5 years where lost so he had to start a new.

After some time, he lucked on a Corp that was recruiting so he applied and was accepted by the Strategic Exploration and Devlopment corporation (SEDEC) after a year and a half with them making friends making and losing billions as is New Eden.

But after a time, Esi took some time away to see his family after nearly 10 years away a huge celebration was thrown for him not seeing his parents and his nearly 20 sisters there was tears and laughs told stories of close scrapes and near love but even while surrounded by friend and family he felt that ache to get back out to the inky back.

Late one clear night while smoking a cigar on a balcony with a scotch he resigned from SEDEC and started looking for a relatively new Corp finding a home in the Hideaway Hunters to which Esi has been ever since taking on his latest project which will test his resolve to the core.
