Born into a society that thrives on improvisation, gaffer tape and ingenious dilettantism Liesl quite soon in her career decided that the most reliable friends are physics and technology.
Even with technology not being 100% reliable it beats humankind by a very long distance when it comes to trust and doing what is required in a given situation.
Consequently she reduced contact with human beings to the unavoidable minimum but in these few cases she is completely loyal and reliable herself.
Even if her contacts ususally describe her as "grumpy" or "rough", they always praise her dedication to the cause.
