Akari is of Gallente Race and origin, she was adopted in YC94 by the late Matriarch Hoshiko Lightrain, and recognized as a Faithful Amarr Citizen and Holder.

She has always had issues with authority, this made her time at the Imperial Academy very hard to sustain. She was initially trained as a potential spy and intelligence operative, as her race of birth, acting skills and typically charismatic personality made her an excellent candidate.

Upon completing the training, she decided life as a spy was not for her and became generally disenchanted with the Empire as a whole, moving to Caille where she attempted an Acting career. Many believe this to be a cover story and that she was actually working as an Imperial Spy within the Federation at the time.

These days she keeps a very low profile, she has nominally left Callie and started a new life as an industrialist within the Empire, though she maintains a social life back in the Federation. At best of times, she is a chameleon, few people, even friends of years have met the real Akari instead of one of her many personas.

Strangely, perhaps due to her training, she speaks with a slight Gallente accent, even though she grew up in the Empire. Her fashion style and dress are entirely Gallente, she is often spending far more than she earns on the latest fashion and accessories.

Akari is very tall and built like a fashion model, she is blonde and has blue eyes, she is extremely attractive by Gallente standards.
