Sophia Khan comes from an old Amarr family - one that prospered immensly from the slave trade in former Amarr territory now under Minmatar control.

She was educated privately, learning the social skills of a noble diplomat and negotiator, physical combat, and operational command.

Against her mother's wishes, Sophia became a Capsuleer after being injured in a Minmatar attack on a compound holding family slaves waiting for transit to a buyer in a different system. Until that date, she was unwaivering in her belief that the Minmatar could not harm the Empire. Sophia was married, but her husband perished in the attack. She has two children, a son and daughter who are being raised by her parents on their homeworld. She fell in love with a married Amarr man, Amastus Fizazi, but keeps her distance because of the reality that he is married.

Sophia travelled to the heart of each of the four major empires, learning about their basic weapons, tactics, ships, and socio-political cultures. She is fiercly loyal to the Amarr and to her faith, and her time spent amongst the Minmatar was tolerable only in the hopes that she could learn things about them that would help her in combat someday.

Sophia is currently becoming familiar with the oldest of her family's businesses - the slave trade. As she continues to gain the experience and education necessary to progress, she will take on more challenging roles in other aspects of her family's businesses and affairs.
