Background
Kobry is a Newbro but willing to learn. While he may not always agree with your tactics or decision making; you're entitled to your own view of the world. Opinions are like yesterdays, everybody has one. Having spent decades in charge of a global terrorist syndicate on Earth, he is now content to play the role of a contributor.
Kobry can often be found lurking the belt in search of new and interesting experiences. After shorting the company stock for a massive personal profit at the expense of their shareholders he retired from Cobra Inc. in late 1995. Not safe from those disgruntled (and penniless) former patrons; Cobra Commander moved to St. Petersburg, and started a tech company specializing in the import and export of hard to find repair and replacement hardware and components for Computers and Networks. He quickly drew the attention of then Russian President Putin (who himself was a Clone) and began supporting similar efforts for the Russian space program to gain their independence from the Global Space Race.
In c. 2021, Kobry led a mission to secretly launch Russian Ship-to-Ship comms technology into space, to presumably start a "Communications Arms Race" in the expanding verse.
As such, he has a keen eye for the market and is always willing to throw a stack of ISK at a business proposition regardless of risk. He frequently will be heard telling his Lieutenants "As long as there's profit, believe my dolla's is on it"
