Clone of an ancient land surveyor on whom fate had landed rather than been sought out.
One day, whilst in the field attempting to resolve a boundary dispute between an angry, fat, and entitled buerocrat and a testy test pilot, a land surveyor found an object that had apparenly fallen from the skies many years, if not eons, before.
Within the blink of an eye the object both temporarily blinded Aules and permiated his entire body with a beam of seemingly pure light.
With a tenably more unstable grasp on reality and bleeding slightily from his perenium, Aules picked himself up from the overgrown field and went on to resolve the boundary dispute in question and many, many more before, years later, drunkenly falling off of the roof of his boat house and drowning in an artificial lake in eastern Tennessee.
Countless years later, struggling to cough up lakewater, Aules was awoken by Gallente medical clone technicians both frantic for his story and furious about the cost of ISK this experiment would entail.
Now he wanders through space. Bewildered by both the inumerable worlds to survey and the depth of his debt to the Gallante for his unsolicited resurrection.
"Neither God nor man's got nothin on me now! Come on in boys, the water's fine."
