On a distant moon in an overlooked backwater, a baby was born -- an ugly baby. The parents, seeing what they had wrought, dropped the kid in the nearest ship's garbage and ran. The baby was found 3 days later, after having eaten half his toes, by the ship's pilots who eventually claimed the baby for their own as they were young and thought it would be funny to have a trashcan kid.

Years passed and the baby grew strong both in might and intelligence despite his meager start.

This is not the story of that baby. That baby died in an unfortunate Platypus stampede on Jita IV. This is the story of the man who witnessed that stampede, laughed, and continued drinking his whiskey.
