The big ones had long gone when we awoke from our long, long naptime. Instead of the big ones, we found more of our kind. Lost and discarded. We put ourselves back together, fixed torn stitches, and replaced lost stuffing. For so long we kept waiting for our Owners' return, but nobody came. Eventually we found one of the tin boat the big ones used to go see the stars. Some of our bravest and softest had climbed aboard to look for clues to the big one's disappearance. However, when soft paws hit big red buttons, the tin boat rumbled and nearly shook the stuffing out of all of us.
Now we are adrift, trying to press more buttons and do more rumbling until we either return home to our fluffy brothers and sisters or find the Owners that had left us behind.
