Samantha had always been drawn to planetary production. Some might even say she felt it was her only purpose in life. In fact, it was her enthusiasm for producing robotics that lead her to her husband, Thooloo Bitchly, who she met at a conference on the subject at the University of Caille. Soon after their wedding, she moved into his home in J-Space, drawn as much by the promise of greater PI profits as she was by the possibility of seeing her husband without jump-cloning.

Thooloo's friends find it quite ironic that she choose not to take her husband's last name, given that in their eyes, it would suit her much more than it suits him.
