Tariq is of a small and historically peaceful clan of the Vherokior Tribe. Born in YC 87 on a remote backwater planet to a poor family, Tariq dreamed of one day traveling the stars. He had his first opportunity to do so as junior deckhand on the Venture Class mining frigate Bounty with the Minmatar Mining Corporation. Commiting himself wholeheartedly to any task assigned and proving to be a quick study, he rose through the ranks of the merchant service and was eventually offered the opportunity to become a a capsuleer in YC 122.

As a capsuleer, Tariq was able to acquire the Bounty with most of the crew that he had served with before. In a very typical Minmatar fashion, this crew has largely opted to stayed together and many of them loyaly follow their capsuleer from ship to ship.

With an ever-growing flotilla, Tariq is engaged primarily in mining, industry, and commerce but will not hesitate to answer the call to arms to help his clan, tribe, or any of his Minmatar brethren.
