Bio
Ricarius was once a high-ranking and influential member of the Amarr Empire's major nobility, his family having close ties with one of the royal houses which sired the Six Heirs. Since infancy, he was groomed by his parents and the family's attendants to one day become the head of their house, and he was well-educated on the privileges and responsibilities of an Heir while he was still in the single digits of age. It was the hope of the house's high membership that they might be able to one day upheave a current royal family, and take their place as a sire of one of the Six Heirs, with the young Ricarius being destined to take on the role of Heir. However, he came to befriend a slave in service to his family during his free time, a young Minmatar girl around his age whom he frolicked and played with regularly. It was only a matter of time before their budding companionship was discovered, and the Minmatar slave was 'relieved of her duties' for daring to fraternize with her 'chosen superior'. This left Ricarius quite perturbed and emotionally tilted, and the resulting experience led him to develop a certain sympathy for those who were lower on the societal rungs.
As he became more public and vocal with his disillusionment towards the more morally questionable actions of the Empire, he started to fall out of favor with the members of his house, and the Amarr nobility at large. Were he to be chosen as the next Emperor, he often declared, his policies would have been built upon improving the rights and liberties of those living within Amarrian space, striving for more peaceful relations with neighboring empires, and even ultimately abolishing the practices of slavery. After being sent into exile for the proselytizing of his 'radical' ideals, he chose to defect to the Gallente Federation, who gladly accepted him as a refugee due to his efforts to encourage within the Amarr Empire the very individualistic values the Federation held dear. Although he was sent away by the Empire he once loved, he still keeps close ties to his faith, a devout follower of his beliefs and his God. He is now a pilot serving in the Federal Navy, and an activist for war against the Amarrians, hoping to one day spread the principles of freedom to all under Amarrian rule, and replace the old repressive regime with his own, as Emperor of a new, fair, and equal Amarr Empire.
