Bio
I’m Zaphi Saraki. I was born in the Caldari State and educated by systems that reward results while quietly eliminating inefficiency. This is relevant, because it explains why I have little patience for tradition when it interferes with performance.

I specialize in missiles. That fact alone is usually enough to lower expectations, which is convenient.

Missiles are considered “understood” by people whose understanding begins and ends with doctrine briefings. They describe the system as slow, predictable, mature. These are comforting conclusions for pilots who prefer certainty over competence. A weapon system is only mature when curiosity has been exhausted, and I see no evidence that has happened.

My background is in engineering and systems integration—areas where opinions are irrelevant and outcomes are measurable. Guidance logic, launch sequencing, stress tolerances, payload behavior. These are levers. Most pilots never learn where they are, and most corporations prefer it that way.

Corporate research divisions labeled my work “misaligned with established frameworks.” Translation: my ideas did not fit their risk models. Approval processes are optimized for predictability, not improvement, so I stopped asking for approval.

I fund my work myself.

Mining is not beneath me; it is efficient. It converts time and discipline into unrestricted capital. No committees, no oversight, no requirement to justify why an idea hasn’t already been done. Asteroids do not object, and ISK carries no opinions.

My ship fittings are often described as inefficient—usually by pilots who value conformity. Those assessments tend to change after contact. Doctrine creates expectations. Expectations are exploitable. I build around that fact.

I remain loyal to the Caldari State. Loyalty, however, does not require intellectual compliance. The State was built by people who identified flaws and corrected them, not by those who defended stagnation as stability.

I mine. I design. I launch missiles that behave exactly as intended.

If the results surprise people, that indicates a failure of preparation on their part, not mine.
