Bio
I awoke slowly, dissoriented and shivering, I tried to collect my thoughts as the cold gnashed and gnawed at my very bones. The flashing light on the console reminds me, I'm in a capsule. Great. I hate capsules. As i look around in the dimly lit cabin, some things begin to come back to me. I recognize this particular space avocado. A Jove capsule. The walls were sparsly decorated with ordered lists of DO's and DONT'S. Mostly dont's. But why? I HATE capsules. But this one's familiar...this is the coorporation's emergency capsule from Jita IV. God but i hate capsules. They're too small. Too weak. And I know from expereince that these "Infinity Drives" don't actually run for infinity. This flashing light on the console indicates that "infinity" is merely a suggestion. This capsule is about out of juice entirely. Just how long have i been out here?

More flashes. I can see myself in the mirror, clean shaven and smiling, In these bio-lights, the short scar on my chin shines a bit more than rest of my soft features. But, the soft blue is kind to my face. It adds some hint of depth to what is, a pretty basic mug. Hints of white in my hair are the only clue to my real age-much older than i look. As my minds eye wanders from the image in the mirror, my thoughts travel too. I remember being ready to see what was going to happen with....something...something exciting was happeneing but i just couldnt remeber what. That's right! We were sending a capsule from one of Jita's Moons to test a new Spatial Drive. I still didn't understand all the technical jargon. Its supposed to work like a helicopter landing on a train. We get picked up off the train, and flown to a different car. Somehow we lift ourselves up OFF of this plane of light, as if it is the train. And the new drive acts as the helicopter in this scenario. Then we land where we choose.

When the Spatial Drive was announced religion still dominated the Galaxy. The idea of traveling outside of space AND time was too close to Gods own will i guess. They rioted in the streeets. They sabatoged and destroyed anything related to the drive they could. Not just the religious fanatics either. There was a theory that we would unravel our very own Pocket Universe with such an experiement. People on ALL sides just wanted to preserve life and help the species. It was horrible. And as it turns out, totally unwarranted. We could only skip across the stars themselves with no time dialation. No real time travel.
