In EVE Online, Xifon Codolle is a former member of the Vex military with whom Hange Zo\xeb (a bounty hunter) partnered for the murder of High-Commander Daala in Sector 74D. He is also the brother of Felin Codolle. Codolle's main profession is contract and contracting work. Codolle participated in combat operations in the Operation Resurrection, Operation Ascension, Operation Crossroads, and Operation Snuff Box as part of Alliance special forces.

A contractual contract that Codolle was at odds with the CEO of was in the form of a bounty hunter contract that Hange had contracted him to assassinate a target of conflict. Codolle was contracted to eliminate Hange during the escape from the high-sec prison Enigma. While Enigma was under the jurisdiction of the Caldari Militia, part of the conflict there was a rogue power struggle between two corporations, the Ensulles Corporation and the Powers' Academy, an institute which looked to find promising agents. The lab staff conducted studies on Hange's mental state as well as her attitudes and principles. They also subjected her to psychological tests. Inside the Enigma prison, she was put into a maw of terrifying thermal stimulation before being sent to a hidden part of the facility. There she was stripped, having been set up as the murderer of one of her targets. The procedure was so painful, she developed skin lesions on her arms.
