Cloned by Victor Invictus with some blood he found on a tampon at a seedy space brothel, Nox was originally slated to be a Pleasure Clone. Much to the dismay of Victor Invictus, Nox was born a male, though just barely. Given his insecurity over his minute manhood and lack of a father figure, Nox was easy to mold into a sidekick. Unfortunately, Nox's incompetent piloting has cost the Corporation not only millions of ISK, but much sanity from Victor Invictus, his reluctant leader.
After a brief galactic war, Nox was abandoned by his leader, forcing Nox to seek out his own fortune and adventure. The story was not ended with a happily ever after though, because Nox was promptly abducted vy aliens, and was allegedly the victim of anal probes. Much to Nox's dismay, this story was met with heavy skepticism or ambivalence, even though the aliens were not gentle. Most stories of abductions involve anal probes, but these aliens were alleged to use core probe scanner probes on Nox, and he was confined to a space-wheelchair for weeks. After the bruising subsided, and many stitches, Nox bounced place to place attempting to spread his name and garner allies. While wandering around in Null-Sec, trying to squirrel away meager amounts of treasure, Nox ran into an unlikely ally. Pilot Da Ram initiated a conversation with Nox. Pleasentries were exchanged and to Nox's surprise, Da Ram gave him the secrets of the universe. Nox continued to travel, coveting this secret knowledge that now only a handful of pilots in the entire galaxy have access to. Nox then ventured to a night club in Caldari space called "The Manhole", which turned out to be a gay bar. The music was loud, and he was offered what he thought was "Date Great" drugs, which he promptly took a handful of. After waking up and having flashbacks of his alien abduction, he ran out of some unknown Chick-Fil-A bathroom, hit his ship locator button on his wrist, and scuttled to the dock.
