Mixed-blood Caldari are an aesthetic and cultural aberration, so to be born a Civire/Achura halfbreed shames not only the child, but the family as well. Such it is that Laplamis, a dutiful daughter who would have been akin to a non-person in the State, was able to subsist in the care of her mother solely because her father was of the Chief Executive caste. Her enrollment as a capsuleer sparked rumors about the identity of her father and the source of the sponsorship funds, well beyond the means of her maternal family. While it is assumed she knows who her father is, it is unclear if they maintain any kind of relationship, and she is loathe to discuss the matter outside a small circle of confidants.
