And through the smoke and fire I walked with an empty gaze forward. Empty shells of once expensive buildings on either side. The smoldering corpses from men, women and children all around me. All I knew and all I was gone in an instant. By fire and light from above destroyed.
For months I wandered through space, jumping from planet to planet. Hitching rides with one wretched hauler after another. My once expensive clothes now in tatters. I arrived at my new home.
Years passed as I were reborn in fire and agony. Every shred of my past self stripped from me. The old giving way to new. Only the hot fire remain inside.
Once accomplished I was set free to Reclaim the Empire!
"Only through many hardships
Is a man stripped to his very foundations
And in such a state
Devoid of distractions
Is his soul free to soar
And in this
He is closest to God"
