Calvin Calvados is the child of a minor merchant family who enlisted in the State War Academy of Kisogo after leaving school, with the eventual goal of earning enough cash to start his own mining corporation. He participated in numerous skirmishes against Seeker drones, and was afterwards transferred to the Uitra system, where he tackled piracy and other illegal activities.

Upon completing his basic military service in Uitra, Calvados continued to serve the needs of the SWA in that region: mineral exploitation, low-profile intelligence missions, cargo hauling - a practical course that only the Caldari military can provide. His demonstrable skill qualified him for some special forces training and a position in the State Protectorate, but he ultimately elected to work as an independent contractor.

Calvados relocated to the SWA station at Urhinichi, where he founded Calvados Solutions, his first venture into private enterprise. Currently he provides various services for the Caldari State Corporations and other organizations.
