Bio
Perhaps better known by his disused callsign Odysseus, Ulysses Redmane is a mercenary pilot and soldier known to engage in minor conflicts across the fringes of Empire space. His past employers at Ostrakon describe him as stoic, driven, and somewhat unstable. Directive Intelligence Agency archives contain several instances of Redmane being accused, and acquitted, of drone related crimes. Investigation into the matters produced no reliable witnesses.

Ulysses has often been seen accompanied by a retinue of armed drones commanded with custom-designed implants. By YC116 he had adopted warclone technology and immersed himself in martial infomorph culture. After securing a long-term contract with the Sisters of EVE Redmane began working for the organization exclusively. Few records of his activities during this period are available, though the Sisters assure CONCORD that his duties were primarily related to the defense of their terrestrial assets against Sansha's Nation.

Spurred on by his employers, Ulysses chose to transfer his personality stack into a capsule clone some time after his chosen career path became an indefinite prison sentence. Legally speaking Mercenary Infomorph 1003222349 ceased to exist and Redmane gained all the rights of a Capsuleer, though the former warclone has kept a low profile to avoid DED scrutiny. Since then he has invested heavily in drone technology R&D while continuing to work closely with the SoE, though rumor holds that he still keeps contact with Angel Cartel agents that allegedly sheltered him from the warclone purges.

A controversial presentation given during a recent Federal Navy Academy robotics seminar indicates that Redmane has developed a fascination with rogue informorphs bordering on obsession. He claims to have integrated rogue elements into one of the automata that accompanied him during his operations and that it began to demonstrate rudimentary intelligence before escaping. Critics within the academic community were quick to dismiss the story without solid proof. The drone populations of Cobalt Edge, Pochven, and Anoikis are particularly relevant to Ulysses' interests.
