This male was the first of his kind to endure the rigors of the beta version cryo pods.
His pod suffered a malfunction, thus sending him several years to far ahead of schedule, and so in early june of the year 1002018 he finally emerged awake.

Prior to his several thousand year long cryo sleep, M. Hansen served bravely and heroicly with distinction above the call, in the danish royal dragoons of the long-gone planet Earth

All we can hope is that this, ever so alien future, is not too meak for his impatience and bravery...some might even call it stupidity.
