Bio
Heir to the head-of-household seat of the House of Stormwalker (member of the main line/Goryeo branch). Duke of Stormwalker (head-of-household title is Prince). Married to Dara Delvinnen. Became a capsuleer after completing medical school and surgical residency.
The House of Stormwalker was originally a local Achuran noble family on Caldari Prime (internal house documents attest to an origin that far predates the terraforming of Caldari Prime and indeed stretches back to Earth, before the colonization of New Eden enabled by the EVE wormhole).
After the Caldari-Gallente federation, many Stormwalkers served with distinction in the Gallente military, and others became notable in their fields of expertise. By all accounts the Stormwalkers were loyal to the Federation. Over time, however, convinced of intractable Gallente hubris, overreach, and interventionism, the main line and a number of cadet branches of House Stormwalker joined in a number of the hidden Caldari colonization initiatives as well as the Caldari independence movement. The Stormwalker branches that sided with the Caldari were primarily the wealthy and politically powerful lines; the Stormwalker branches that stayed loyal to the Federation were far less influential or well-off, and in the aftermath of Caldari independence they struggled for at least a generation to re-establish themselves in Gallente business and society.
An often-forgotten facet of Stormwalker grievances against the Gallente Federation was the Federation's calculated strategy of leaving territories adjacent to Amarr-occupied sectors undefended in order to concentrate Gallente forces elsewhere for breakthroughs in the Amarrian line. This strategy, while effective, left many loyal Gallente citizens exposed to the predations of Amarrian raiding and invasion forces, including a large proportion of Stormwalkers and their properties. The failure of the Gallente federal government to officially acknowledge the damages incurred as a direct result of its strategy followed by the stonewalling of efforts to obtain even a token restitution to those affected after the hostilities with the Amarr Empire were over served as the last straw for the Stormwalker branches that eventually sided with the Caldari independence movement.
The Caldari-Gallente wars saw Stormwalker relatives and militias vehemently fight each other, a sore point that resonates in the branches' tense relations with each other to this day.
