Like many young boys on his homeworld, Vesimere Vrinn dreamed of becoming a capsuleer in the Caldari Navy. Every distant rumble of afterburners pushing a battleship into orbit sent him running outside hoping for a glimpse of his future. At night, he would track the movement of unfamiliar stars as massive Caldari fleets dodged Gallentean drones above his planet.

Like so few others, however, he got that chance. But military service was less glamorous than he dreamed. There was always someone else giving orders, someone else to please. The men under his command trusted him more than they trusted his superiors and when Vesimere turned in his resignation, dozens of the Navy's top pilots followed his lead.

Instead of shuttling back to their own homeworlds, they followed Vesimere as he began flying a new path in New Eden, a path strewn with grim challenges and tremendous rewards that cannot be conquered without all the power of a team. And Vesimere Vrinn is their leader.
