After graduating with double honours in Contramacrofusion Dihydroxipyrology & Nanoneurological Postpaleoarchaeology (with a minor in Math), Aiden began researching topics related to Jovian clone technology and the Intaki rebirth processes. This provided an opportunity to see if he was compatible with the capsuleer architecture. Elated to qualify, it soon became clear that without adequate sponsorship, he would never actually achieve immortality.
The break came several years later when Malthier Kabardun approached the University of Caille, looking for a capsuleer to assist him in chasing a rumour about an Intaki ancestor who might have been reborn and still living. While several existing capsuleer alumni had been put forward, Aiden's expertise proved too tempting, and his ascension endorsed.
Many months were spent throughout the Federation, but the fabled matriarch was never found. Though his contract had expired, Aiden requested to stay on with Purple Starlight Haze. Malthier did one better, not only marrying him into the family, but making Aiden the Chief Operating Officer and public face of the company (admittedly, to help bolster its standing in the eyes of Federation citizens).
