While officially a citizen of the Caldari State, Mathias was originally part of a far-off tribe on the world of Hiigara in null-sec territory. As a child he was found after an attack of unknown origin destroyed much of the Hiigaran homeworld, and spread its citizens across null-sec and the three empires. Some of the survivors became nomads, traveling deeper into null-sec. Others, like Mathias, became engrained in the various states making up high-sec territory. Mathias' life goal is to become reunited with his tribe. But only if he can secure enough fame and firepower to avenge the attack that made him and so many others orphans and strangers in their own land.
