What can I say? Child of the military. Rebeled against it in my youth. Left home at an early age and tried to make my way in the universe, Struggled to find structure and stability. Eventually settled down, got married to the girl of my dreams and we had a child that was the star in my night sky. I was happy. Content. Life was good.

Then in one instant it was all gone, An attack left my world in ruins and my wife and child dead. I sought out the only place where I could hide my pain, the cold souless expanse of space.

A single ship. A universe to hide in. A military background to help guide my way. A drive fueled by anger, pain and loneliness. Today I start anew. Today I start my path to become what my father always wanted; a warrior and a leader.

Today I start to forget, but not forgive.
