After having graduated the Federal Navy Academy as the first ever deaf pilot, Maha Pajapati flew to a remote region and continued her studies at a monastery rumored to offer mind training from a long lost, and almost mythical teaching. Maha felt that it might hold the key to help her forge her path in the universe. There, in the monastery, she discovered the writings of a great teacher by the name of Tozan Ryokai, who was also rumored to be the reincarnation of another teacher by the name of Shunryu Suzuki Diasho. She trained and honed her skills there for over a year. In the process, she opened the refugee sangha, a community for the growing number of people who had lost there homes and families to warfare. Some time later Tozan passed away. With his influence on the region gone, it did not take long for militants to make a move to overtake the region. Maha was forced to close the refugee sangha due to militant warfare. As a result, she too became a refugee. She spoke out to various news sources, politcal leaders, and corporations and raised awareness about the militant activity. In the weeks that followed, the militants made several attempts to assasinate Maha in order to slience her. It was then clear to her that she needed to head out of the region and put her training to use.

It was a chance encounter that she met Chalenet Plarrovon, an agent for The SCOPE. From that meeting Maha was able to get an interview with Herirlier Allerchel, CEO of The SCOPE. Maha now works for The SCOPE as a journalist, reporting on the growing threat of ruthless gangs that roam New Eden. These gangs take part in activities such as highjackings, extortion, money laundering, and slave labor. Maha's mission is to shine light on this dark aspect of New Eden.
