Thus she retained her good looks throughout her life, and the right to dine out on that story.

Her early initiative, and her intuitive way with large wild animals, led her to a vibrant career in both front line facial surgery and zookeeping. By day, she managed a chain of exemplary intergalactic zoos; by night, she fixed up the broken bodies and tattered faces of war-torn capsuleers.

She now fixes anything. Wales has rarely spawned a more resourceful and effective warrior queen.
