Sold as a slave to an Amarrian Militia Captian, Gonzo was trained in spaceship combat from an early age. As his master rose in the ranks, Gonzo's access to military strategy in Capital warfare rose as well. Unbeknowst to his master, Gonzo was learning as much as he could. One day, on an extended scouting trip, a rogue Caldari pirate attacked the vessel. This pirate's wife was an Amarrian, who detested slave trading. As a result of her kindness, Gonzo was spared from death on board his dead masters vessel. Treated like a brother, he pledged his allegiance to the small growing family.

As time passed, it became apparent that Gonzo had a unique skill set that the pirate lacked. With his knowledge in some of the largest vessels in New Eden, Gonzo brought some much needed firepower to the table. Never before being allowed to actual learn piloting skills, he would soon get the chance to put his knowledge to the test, as he became a capsuleer, and started training for the stars.
