A once humble, backwater girl, Shou was unexpectedly scouted for possible capsuleer candidacy following her exemplary exam scores for enlistment into the Caldari Navy. Though it pained her father, a retired Navy Captain, to sign the release papers for the training and implant proceedures, he knew his daughter had the potential to make a difference in the universe. Shou's studies in the State War Academy greatly honed her already perceptive and calculative mind to the point of nearly instantaneous reaction times. This, coupled with her keen piloting abilities, saw her second to none amongst her peers in terms of high-speed maneuvering and agility with any ship. Though she rather enjoys the thrill of extreme velocity flying, Shou has found that she lacks the stomach to engage in combat. Now out of the Academy and plying the spacelanes in solitude, she has started a risky, yet profitable blockade runner career in the employ of the upstart trader and ruthless entrepreneur, Oridian Etrin.
